Technology is always changing... After watching the YouTube video The Machine is Us/ ing Us, there is almost an urgency to find some sort of web responsibility. No I don't mean paying your internet bill, but actually understanding the programs you're using or even the different documents you're reading and the copyright laws that go with those great resources. This day-in-age virtually anyone can use a computer and the internet. In North America alone, according to the internet world stats, "73 percent can use the internet." That is a whole lot of people browsing around. Because of all the file sharing, plagarising and social networking cites, we have created a world where just about anything goes. I mean you go to any search engine, type in one word and get thousands of different references. Our computer systems our so user friendly that I could go to one website, copy and paste some content, go to another website on the same subject, copy and paste and BAM, I now have a term paper. Not everything is what it seems on the internet and people need to start taking responsibility for what sites they visit and whose work they are using. Always give credit where it is deserved and learn about something before you abuse it.
